Announcement: Incoming President and Secretary for 2027 Season

Jr. J-Hawks Baseball is excited to announce several leadership changes for the upcoming 2027 season as the organization continues building for the future of youth baseball on the west side.

After years of dedication and service, outgoing President Brian Sherron and Secretary Andrea Sherron will be stepping down from their board leadership roles following the 2026 season. As parents of the 13U Blue team, Brian and Andrea have played a major role in helping grow the organization, supporting players and families, and creating memorable experiences for the Jr. J-Hawk community. Their countless hours of volunteer work, leadership, and commitment have helped lay a strong foundation for future seasons.

Taking over as President for the 2027 season will be Shamus Veach, current parent of a 9U Blue player. Shamus has already been actively involved within the organization and looks forward to continuing the club’s growth while focusing on player development, family involvement, and strengthening the future of Westside baseball.

Joining the executive board as Secretary will be Emily Distler, current parent of an 11U Blue player. Emily brings enthusiasm, organization, and a passion for supporting youth athletics as she steps into her new role.

The remaining executive board members for the 2027 season include:

  • Chad Brakhahn — Vice President
  • Candace Graybill — Treasurer

The Board is excited for this next chapter and looks forward to continuing to build a positive, competitive, and family-focused experience for all Jr. J-Hawk players and families.

Please join us in thanking Brian and Andrea Sherron for their years of service and congratulating our incoming 2027 leadership team.
