Jr Jhawks Host MLB Clinic

Jr Jhawks Hosted Free Youth Baseball Clinic with MLB Players Alumni Association

The Jr Jhawks hosted a Free Youth Baseball Clinic in partnership with the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) as part of the Legends for Youth Clinic Series on October 11, 2025, at the Jefferson High School baseball fields.

The special event gave young athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball directly from former Major League players and experienced instructors. Participants rotated through skill stations focused on hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running, while also learning the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun with the game.

Families and players also enjoyed great food during the event, with the Street Food Fighter Mobile Food Unit on site serving popular favorites and adding to the festive, community-focused atmosphere.

The clinic was part of the Legends for Youth Clinic Series, a charitable program that hosts more than 180 free events each year worldwide. The mission of the program is to promote the game of baseball to youth by using positive sports images and inspiring personalities, helping young players build confidence both on and off the field.

The Jr Jhawks were proud to partner with MLBPAA to bring this impactful experience to local youth and extended their thanks to all volunteers, players, families, and community partners who helped make the day a success.
